 After the long hiatus, Aim High Kabataan is so back!

With former members getting older while some have different priorities, new breed of Aim High Kabataan arises.

After month-long Responsible Sexuality Orientation all over General Santos City, the 26 barangays now have new set of Aim High Kabataan officers.

Last May 10, 2015, a General Assembly took place wherein all the officers were inducted by Hon. Pedro B. Acharon Jr. Federation Officers were also elected among the presidents.

It's been awhile that the Aim High Kabataan got together to do something worthwhile. As a call for Mindanaons to come together to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) of India –“Most Trees Simultaneously Planted in Multiple Locations", AHK actively answered the call.

On September 26, 2014 around 3 in the morning, thirty-six young and vibrant AHK members trooped to Upper Labay, one of the many locations in Mindanao for the Greening Mindanao activity geared to plant trees and be part of the Mindanao history.

A tiring but very productive activity, the participants need to pass by 5 rivers and has to walk before reaching the exact planting sites. The record will cover approximately 9,272 hectares (500 seedlings/hectare) in all six (6) regions in Mindanao.

 As of 5:00 pm of September 26, 2014, a total of Three Million, Fifty-Eight Thousand, Six Hundred and Twenty Five trees (3, 058, 625), were planted!
