AHK Joined PNP's TAKBO GENSAN PARA SA KABATAAN

Oval Plaza, GSC- At 5:30 in the morning, a group of young people woke up quiet early than usual on a Sunday. Geared up with their running shoes, jogging pants and lazy muscles, some of the Aim High Kabataan newbies were ecstatic with their first ever Fun Run together.

Ready. Get set. GO!

Organized by the Philippine National Police, "Takbo Gensan para sa Kabataan" aims to raise funds for the proposed BOYS' TOWN of General Santos City and a separate office for Children and Womens Special Concerns. The activity also made the PNP closer to the people especially towards the young people who usually see Policemen with their guns. Clad in their exercise uniforms, the Policemen appeared to be more approachable and amiable.

With more than a thousand registered runners, the organizers are again preparing for another FUN RUN in celebration with the Human Rights Month. With that, expect Aim High Kabataan will be up and present to support our Men in Uniform again.

PAROKYA ni EDGAR Rocks GENERAL SANTOS

Oval Plaza Stage, General Santos City - Yellows, and combination of Orange and Apple Green were everywhere. Music is already blaring as the sun finally bids goodbye. Familiar campaign jingles keeps on playing, leaving people with LSS. Young people mostly in yellows work like there is no tomorrow. Excitement gives them the drive to work like ants as they transform the stage into a young rockers haven. Who wont be ecstatic when you are volunteering for good governance and youth empowerment plus Parokya ni Edgar as a BONUS?

May 7, 2010, a day before the last day of official campaign period were chosen to be the date of the Grand Rally of the Achievement with Integrity Movement (AIM). Tagged as Libreng Pahalipay sa Katawhan, AIM did not tricked the crowd of using entertainment for their Political Agenda. CLAP! CLAP! goes to all the candidates of AIM Party for being considerate and limited their "talking" time to make way for the fun and entertainment the young generals were expecting.

It was also a night of talent showcase of local dancers, singers and bands that the Generals should be proud of.

Together with their followers and supporters the whole AIM slate showed full force for the grandest rally ever.

As for Parokya ni Edgar, since 1993 they are still the wackiest band ever!.. The Generals went wild when they came out. The supposedly Four-song repertoire doubled up, they were generous. Chito kept on thanking the Generals for the warm reception and gave in to everyone's request - sing the YES YES SHOW!

Chito Miranda up close

ang gwapong Vince

Macho, Macho Man!

Din-Din the Drummer Boy

Darius on the Strings

It was indeed a memorable experience for the Generals! Thank you very much Generals for the pure clean Fun!.. No untoward incident was reported before, during and after the show!

As Chito Miranda put it, let us go out and vote!.. Let us not waste our Right to Suffrage! I am sure by now you know who to vote for!

Again! Daghang Salamat Generals!
